TOWN’S PURPOSE statement
“Prosper is a place where everyone
matters.”
The Town of Prosper
strives to be a place where every resident has a voice, where decisions are made in the
best interest of everyone, and where government is open and transparent. The municipal
departments each play a role enriching the Town and supporting the
people who live here.
The Prosper school district earned top marks in the
most recent grades reported from the Texas Education Agency (TEA). In fact, the
school system received a Texas Education Agency accountability grade of A.
Not too shabby! This means that the Prosper Independent School District is
recognized as one of the top
performing school districts in the whole state.
Most people living in
Prosper, TX are comprised of families. Many move here for the low crime rate and top-performing
school district. But they also move here for its green spaces,
walkability factor, and access to area attractions, dining, shopping and more.
Prosper is listed on many “best suburbs”
lists, situated on the northern boundary of Frisco. It’s been rank as #8
out of the 3,000 or so small cities in America. Subdivisions and master-planned
communities here are being built with blue
lagoons and beaches available to residents only. This is great for
residents, as Prosper is a landlocked
North Texas town and has never been known for its beaches
– until now.
The popular community
of Windsong Ranch offers residents incredible homes, extraordinary amenities
(now including THE LAGOON!), and an award-winning, on-site lifestyle
program with a full calendar of social events and fitness classes. Windsong
Ranch has set a new standard for master-planned communities in North Dallas
Quick
access to the Dallas North Tollway for easy commute.
